I was only 11 when my grandfather died, but he was the King to me...He was funny and happy and so talented, we  worshiped  him. My brother was 17 at the time...Grandpop's funeral was so large there were over 100 cars in the procession and at the viewing the room was filled to the brim with flowers...My brother was fascinated with the turnout but mostly with the flowers. He kept thinking Grandpop can't even enjoy these amazing flowers..Who are the flowers really for? Thus he wrote this song.
